Take And Upload A Photo Almost Anywhere Without A Touch

Take And Upload A Photo Almost Anywhere Without A Touch

August 3, 2012
The uniquely named Advarkaa is definitely one of the more interesting photo apps I’ve been able to use in quite a while. The app has a simple premise. Once Advarkaa is configured, users can launch the app and point their iPhone at what they want to take a picture of. After that, the photo can be uploaded to numerous places, including social networks like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Flickr. The photo can also be moved to cloud storage services like Dropbox, Evernote, and Picasa. Photos can also be uploaded to an unlimited amount of email accounts. And the app is completely customizable. Photos can be uploaded to just one, or even all, of the compatible services. The app also has a non-destructive photo editing suite containing quick photo filters that can be edited and saved as your own custom filters for later use. While Advarkaa is powerful, setting it up was very simple. After just a few minutes, I was automatically uploading photos to my Dropbox and on Instagram. I also liked that you can set the app to not automatically take a photo upon launch so you can choose a specific destination for uploading The developer, Sliver Beech Studios, said that future updates will add the option to automatically apply filters before uploading along with instant video capture. Advarkaa is designed for the iPhone and iPod touch but compatible with the iPad. It is on sale in the App Store for $0.99 for a limited time.
