This Jailbreak Tweak Keeps The Status Bar In View When App Switching

August 30, 2012
Folks rocking a multitasking iDevice will know that enabling the fast app switcher pushes the status bar out of view. However, one new jailbreak tweak can keep the status bar in view when users multitask on their iPhone. The new tweak is called Status Bar Switcher, and it's available to download now in the Cydia Store. Status Bar Switcher is a simple but effective jailbreak tweak. It comes with no configurations, no additional settings, nor does it add a new pane in the Settings app, or an icon to the Home screen. Instead, users will find that, after downloading Status Bar Switcher, the status bar is kept in view (and turns a dark shade of grey) when users double-press their Home button, and enable the fast app switcher. This of course means that iDevice owners can check on the time, and on their battery life, while fast app switching. Handy, right? Currently, Status Bar Switcher is available to download in the Cydia Store for free. Take a look at the jailbreak tweak now, and be sure check out our video walkthrough below.
