Dirt ($0.99 → Free, 14.3 MB): Play as a deceased, pickaxe-wielding cat named Dirt, and try to figure out why you are trapped underground by digging in every direction. Tap and drag your finger across the screen to cause Dirt to dig towards it. Rotate your iDevice to change the gravity and dig in different directions. The game features an endless environment, shiny objects to collect, and an ambient soundtrack.

Dirt is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4-star rating with a total of 313 ratings.

Universal:

Idyllic! ($1.99 → Free, 38.4 MB): An endless side-scrolling jumping game that requires you to restore your world to its former glory. Jump on platforms by tilting your device to make them come to life and earn bonus points. Collect coins to unlock new abilities on your journey. The game includes boss battles, a variety of abilities to choose from, and leaderboards via Game Center.

Bean Bag Kids present Little Red Riding Hood ($0.99 → Free, 47.5 MB): The Bean Bag Kids perform "Little Red Riding Hood" in this interactive storybook. The app includes three reading options, interactive 3D characters, scenes that can be explored by tilting your iDevice, and 12 puzzles to put together. You can also unlock biographies for each of the Ben Bag Kids by collecting all of the stars in each scene.

I Can Xylo ($0.99 → Free, 26.5 MB): Learn to play the xylophone with this music creation app. You can freely tap away on the bars to create your own music, or you can learn to play any one of the 10 included nursery rhymes and songs. Your music can also be recorded and played back. The app includes the option to hear the songs played automatically as well.

Road Inc. - Legendary Cars ($6.99 → Free, 220.7 MB): If you have a thing for classic cars, you're absolutely going to love this entertainment app. It includes 50 landmark automobile models that you can gawk at, listen to, and learn all about. The app includes more than 3,000 archival documents, over 70 videos and 350 studio photographs, in-depth essays, 100 engine sounds, AirPlay support, and the ability to share content via Facebook, Twitter, or email. Road Inc. comes with one car preinstalled, with the rest available as free downloads in order to save on space.

My Story - Book Maker for Kids ($1.99 → Free, 3.2 MB): An educational app that allows your child to write, illustrate, and narrate their very own book. The app guides your child step-by-step through the entire creation process, allowing them to personalize each and every part of their book. It includes a variety of drawing tools and colors to choose from, the ability to take a photo or import one from the library, voice recording, and the ability to share the final product via email or add it to your iBooks library.
