iCarpenter™ ($0.99 → Free, 26.6 MB): A collection of seven handy tools. It includes a scrollable ruler, protractor, gravitational force meter, compass, spirit level, magnifier, and plummet.

Pocket Lists: checklist & to-do app ($0.99 → Free, 18.7 MB): A powerful task manager that will have no problem replacing the stock Reminders app on your iDevice. It includes everything you'd expect from a task manager, including the ability to add priority levels to tasks, due dates, notes, unique icons, and location-based notifications. What makes it special, however, are its power-user features, like the ability to understand due dates and priority levels from inputted text, built-in OCR, calendar syncing, and list collaboration via the Internet, Wi-Fi, or Bluetooth.

Tourou nagashi Photo Frame ($1.99 → Free, 2.1 MB): A relaxing lantern-style photo viewer. Slap your photos onto lanterns by picking an album from your library, and then just sit back and watch as they float down a stream. Tap on a lantern to view a fullscreen version of the photo attached to it. You can also change the camera angle and move the lanterns around the water by tapping and dragging. The app also includes the ability to snap a screenshot of your stream, a slideshow option, and a list view.

LiveFace - the photo animator ($0.99 → Free, 20.1 MB): Give life to your still photos with this photography app. It allows you to animate parts of your photos by applying and customizing masks. You can then save your finished product as a GIF, MP4, SWF, or JPG, and then share it via email, Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, or Instagram. The app also includes beginner and advanced modes, and a gallery for viewing all of your unique creations.

LiveFace - the photo animator is available for free for a limited time. It has a 5-star rating with a total of 3 ratings. Universal:

Speedometer GPS+ (Car speedometer, Bike cyclometer) ($2.99 → Free, 2.9 MB): Monitor and track your speed with this navigation app. It includes two separate speedometers, one for your car and one for your bicycle, which can you switch between on the fly. Both allow you to view speeds in either mph or km/h. The main display provides you with your average speed, max speed, elapsed time, altitude, and total distance traveled as well. The app also includes a compass with location coordinates, a map view, and the ability to share your coordinates via email.

Speedometer GPS+ (Car speedometer, Bike cyclometer) is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 21 ratings.

Millie & The Lost Key - Millie Was Here, Book 2 ($1.99 → Free, 332.3 MB): An interactive book that has your child following Millie, the adorable but mischievous dog, on an adventure through a dense jungle in search of the lost key to endless bacon. The app includes interactivity on every page, so your child should never tire of Millie. It also includes three reading modes, virtual stickers to discover and collect, original music, and professional narration.

Millie & The Lost Key - Millie Was Here, Book 2 is available for free for a limited time. It has a 5-star rating with a total of 208 ratings.

Ichi ($0.99 → Free, 41.6 MB): This puzzle game requires you to rotate objects in order to collect all of the golden rings. To rotate objects, just tap on the screen. You're final score is based on how many taps it takes to collect all of the golden rings in each level, so tap wisely. The game includes 56 levels, a built-in level editor, and achievements and leaderboards via Game Center.

Ichi is available for free for a limited time. It has a 5-star rating with a total of 6 ratings. iPad:

Toy Defense HD ($2.99 → Free, 141.5 MB): Lead your toy army to victory in this fixed-path tower defense game. Deploy toy soldiers and other powerful weapons to defend your base from the approaching enemies. You're able to repair your units using the coins you earn during battle. You can also upgrade units after each battle. The game includes an intense World War I atmosphere, 72 levels, four weapons with 24 upgrades, nine enemy types, and achievements and leaderboards via Game Center.

Toy Defense HD is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 1464 ratings.

LetsTans Premium ($2.99 → Free, 10.2 MB): Solve 900 hand-crafted tangrams in this puzzle game. It includes seven modes, multiple difficulty levels, seven skins, an advanced hint system, and achievements and leaderboards via Game Center.

LetsTans Premium is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4-star rating with a total of 311 ratings.
