Adian Joins Rhino As Newest App.net Client For iPhone
September 9, 2012
Last week, the first ever iOS client for emergent Twitter alternative App.net came in the form of Rhino. Now, a new iOS client for App.net has entered the App Store, and its name is Adian.
Why “Adian”? Simple, really. App.net is often shortened as ADN. Now, pronounce “ADN.” Sounds like “Adian,” right? So, there you have it.
But what of the functionality behind the name?
Well, Adian, which is optimized for iPhone, boasts a good many features. In fact, Adian has more features than Rhino, which is only to be expected, since the former is a paid app whereas the latter is a free one.
These features, as listed in the app’s App Store description, include:
Made by the same developer behind the potentially endangered TweetFire, Adian is available now in the App Store for $4.99. If you’d like to have a good basis to inform your decision on whether to download the app or not, wait for a full review from my colleague Christine to be posted later here on AppAdvice.
