Scott Forstall, speaking at Apple's iPhone event in San Francisco, Calif., has just demoed iOS 6's brilliant turn-by-turn navigation feature, which the company is adding in iOS 6. The Maps app, as we told you back when iOS 6 beta launched, has been rebuilt from the ground up. No longer powered by Google Maps, the iOS 6 Maps application features a 3-D mapping feature, and of course, turn-by-turn navigation. Both can be enabled from within the Maps app quickly and easily, and work great on an iOS 6-powered iDevice. It's really exciting to see such an integral application gain new features and further improvements, and we can't wait for the public launch of iOS 6. In case you haven't heard, Apple announced the iPhone 5 moments ago. For all the latest news from Apple's iPhone event as it happens, head over to our live blog. You'll be able to download iOS 6 from September 19.
