Developer MobileLife Studio has continued to refine its recently released Savi People app by adding a host of new features with a recent update.
We first told you about Savi People when it was introduced earlier this summer. Turning the usual contacts functionality on its head, the app adds a strong layer of social networking.
When you first enter Savi People, the app adds all the information directly through your Contacts app. After that, you can easily view your contacts’ social network profiles and communicate directly through the app. You can also send emails, SMS, and iMessages directly from Savi People.
Version 1.3 of the app adds improved group messaging, a scaleable thumbnail view of contacts, more display preferences, and the usual bug fixes.
And the company has also introduced the new Savi Contacts app. While in the same vein of Savi People, the major advantage of the app is its free cost that retains all of the strong contact organization features. Users wanting the social networking features can upgrade to the paid app.
Savi People is made for the iPhone/iPod touch but is compatible with the iPad. It is $1.99 in the App Store. Savi Contacts is free in the App Store and designed for the iPhone/iPod touch.
