There Are Many Sides To A Story And There Are Many Ways To Enjoy News360
September 11, 2012
Already an excellent news app, News360 for iPad has just been improved even further through its latest update.
This new update serves to reinforce the app’s reputation of presenting the many sides of a story.
News360 takes this reputation to a somewhat literal level with its rough representation of news items as interactive cubes. Swiping up or down on any of these cubes shows a different side, so to speak, of its corresponding story.
A few new features have just been added to News360 for iPad. And sure enough, accessing these features call for a bit of swiping so as to view a different side of the story on hand.
In the new version of the popular news app, you can now hide stories to teach News360 what sort of stuff you don’t like.
The more stories you hide, the better the app will understand what kinds of news don’t matter to you. Just swipe down on a story in the grid or cube view and tap the hide button to effectively dislike the story.
Swiping down on a story also lets you access the new save and broadcast buttons.
The save button lets you save stories more easily to Evernote, Instapaper, and Pocket as well as to your iPad and News360 account.
The broadcast button, on the other hand, lets you like a story on Facebook, post it on your Facebook Timeline, and tweet it all with a single tap.
The new version of News360 for iPad is available now in the App Store for free.
