Tweetbot 2.5 Offers Support For iOS 6, The iPhone 5

Not to be overshadowed by Twitter’s own app update, Tweetbot 2.5 has arrived in the App Store. The Twitter client for the iPhone/iPod touch now includes support for iOS 6 and the iPhone 5. Originally launched in 2011, Tweetbot has long been a favorite for many at AppAdvice. Personally, I prefer using Twitter’s own app, which has improved lately, on my iOS devices. In particular, I’m enjoying the new Twitter for iPad enhancements that recently launched.

In recent months, Tweetbot had hoped to launch on the Mac. Unfortunately, new Twitter rules for developers have made that task more difficult. To date, the Mac application is available, but only to current Beta customers. Tweetbot for Twitter (iPhone & iPod touch) and Tweetbot for Twitter (iPad) are available in the App Store. And the iPad version is on sale for $0.99!
