'App Of The Week' Projectbook For iPad Now Includes More Imaging And Improved Sketching Tools
October 11, 2012
One of the most popular productivity apps for iPad has received the first of two scheduled updates. Projectbook 1.1 is now available in the App Store.
Released earlier this year, Theory.io’s all-in-one, intelligent productivity app Projectbook now offers two ways for users to place images within notes, as well as improved sketching tools.
Images can now be anchored to text so that they move with the text as the note is edited. Additionally, images can be placed in static locations behind the text. This allows annotation directly on the image.
Sketching in Projectbook 1.1 has been optimized for the new iPad. In turn, the app’s expressive digital ink is now said to be faster and more responsive.
The updated version of Projectbook is available at a special introductory price of $1.99 through Oct. 18, or $5 off its regular price. The update is free for current customers.
Next month, an even bigger Projectbook update is expected to be unveiled at the San Francisco App Show on Nov. 8.
A previous AppAdvice “App Of The Week" winner, Projectbook is available for download in the U.S. and Canada only. For more information on Projectbook, see Meet Projectbook, An All-Inclusive Notebook App For iPad.
