Etsy For iPhone Adds Support For New Listings And Languages

October 25, 2012
Etsy for iPhone, the official iOS client of the popular e-commerce site of the same name, has just received a short but sweet update. The update is short in that it delivers only three major changes to the app. But it's sweet in that it certainly makes the app even more pleasant than it already is. Plus, the update is issued in compliance with Etsy's two distinct goals: "to grow Etsy outside the United States, and to help sellers build their businesses on the Etsy platform." In line with the former goal, Etsy for iPhone is now equipped with improved language support. The new version of the app features localizations and translations in Dutch, French, German, and British English. And in accordance with the latter goal, Etsy for iPhone now enables sellers to create and publish new listings. Sellers can now take photos of their vintage and handmade products and upload them directly onto Etsy listings using their iPhones. Of course, listings made through Etsy for iPhone include descriptions, tags, and even shipping profiles. Also duly optimized for iPhone 5, the new version of Etsy for iPhone is available now in the App Store for free. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
