It's Going To Be One Hell Of A Maximum Ride In Dodonpachi Maximum
October 27, 2012
Have you somehow grown tired of playing the awesomely named Dodonpachi Ressurection and Dodonpachi Blissful Death? Then you'll be delighted to know that Cave's latest installment in the Dodonpachi series of iOS shooting games is here. And if its name is anything to go by, this new Dodonpachi game is the biggest yet.
The name of the game is Dodonpachi Maximum.
Previously launched on Windows Phone some months ago, Dodonpachi Maximum is Cave's first all-original shooter for smartphones.
In the game, you are tasked to take control of the Maximum Bullet-Hell Simulator. And sure enough, a maximum bullet-hell is what you'll be going up against.

In the tradition of Cave's most frenetic shooters, including the Bug Princess titles, Dodonpachi Maximum has you taking on a variety of bullet-hell weapons. Lucky for you, you can do so using the game's one-finger gameplay, which can help you progress from the Easy Mode to the more difficult Normal Mode.
Dodonpachi Maximum is available now in the App Store. You can grab the game for $6.99, but only until Monday, Oct. 29. Thereafter, it will be available at its normal price of $11.99. So download it now lest you spend five dollars more post-sale.
But before you do, make sure your device is among the ones compatible with Dodonpachi Maximum: iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5 (for which the game has been optimized), iPad 2, and the third-generation iPad. Note also that the game requires iOS 5.1 or later.
