British audio company RHA is officially entering the North American market with an inexpensive set of earphones and on-ear headphones exclusively at Apple Stores.
The noise isolating MA450i earphones are made from aircraft-grade aluminum and feature 10mm drivers. Available in both black and white, the earphones come packaged with seven sets of dual-density rubber eartips and a fabric-braided cable with a three button in-line remote that works with iOS devices.
The MA450i is available in Apple Stores now and will be available in mid-October on Apple’s online store for a very reasonable $49.95.
The pictured SA950i will launch at Apple Stores at the end of the month. Featuring 40mm titanium-coated drivers and dynamic neodymium magnets, the on-ear headphones use contour-forming earcups attached to adjustable chrome sliders. Just like the earphones, the SA950i will come with a fabric-braided cable and an in-line remote. It will retail for $59.95.
Both of the options definitely look interesting, especially when compared to the $29 EarPods from Apple. Along with the price, RHA offers a three-year international warranty, which should give users peace of mind.
While I’m still enjoying the Logitech UE 4000 on-ear headphones I recently reviewed, RHA’s options definitely look appealing for users wanting upgraded sound for an inexpensive price.
