Play as Lightning McQueen or any one of his friends and speed through different environments in Disney's side-scrolling platform game, Cars 2. We also have an interactive storybook starring Cookie Monster, and a turn-based strategy game that takes place in an underwater Wild West.

Tiny Talking Monsters ($0.99 → Free, 22.2 MB): Interact with adorable characters dressed up like monsters with this entertainment app. Perform different gestures and watch as the characters play, jump, dance, and get spooked. You can also speak into your iDevice's mic and the characters will repeat what you say. The app includes four characters, and a list of all of the actions you can perform.

Tiny Talking Monsters is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 428 ratings.

Cars 2 ($2.99 → Free, 17.6 MB): Speed through a variety of levels as Lightning McQueen, Mater, Holley, Finn, or Francesco Bernoulli in this side-scrolling platform game from Disney. Your character will race ahead all on their own, but it's up to you to jump at just the right moment by tapping the screen to clear obstacles and gaps in the track. Aim for oil cans to increase your multiplier, and grab power-ups to replenish your health. The game includes three environments, 24 levels, and achievements via Game Center?

Quick Camera ($1.99 → Free, 188.4 KB): Snap multiple photos in a flash with this photography app. Quick Camera only takes about two seconds to fully launch. You can then snap up to 260 photos per minute on iPhone 5. The app includes three continuous shooting modes, a "hold to shoot" option, three flash options, and iPhone 5 screen support.

The Great Cookie Thief... A Sesame Street App Starring Cookie Monster ($2.99 → Free, 330.6 MB): An interactive storybook app that has your child trying to track down The Great Cookie Thief. Each scene is fully animated and loaded with all kinds of interactive items to keep your child engaged. Words are automatically highlighted, making it easy for even beginning readers to follow along. The app includes more than 100 animations, 20 parent tips, and the option to create your own wanted poster.

The Great Cookie Thief... A Sesame Street App Starring Cookie Monster is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4-star rating with a total of 143 ratings.

Squids Wild West ($1.99 → Free, 255.2 MB): Help the squids search for their fallen comrade in the underwater Wild West in this genre-mashing turn-based game. Fling members of your squid squad towards your enemies by pulling back on their stretchy tentacles and releasing. The farther you pull, the more damage you'll inflict. You need to keep an eye on each of your character's stamina bubbles, because once they run out, it's your opponent's turn to fight back. The game includes four character classes with the ability to upgrade their attributes, six environments with multiple levels in each one, iCloud support, and achievements and leaderboards via Game Center.

Lich Defense ($1.99 → Free, 82.5 MB): A fixed-path tower defense game where you get to play as the Lich King and annihilate your invaders. You're able to place towers along the path by tapping on an open space and selecting a type. Towers can be upgraded with the currency earned from your fallen enemies. You can also unleash powerful magical spells if the enemy forces begin to become too much to handle. The game includes three environments, 60 quests, the ability to upgrade and unlock new spells, and leaderboards via Game Center.

Lich Defense is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 239 ratings.

Lane Splitter ($0.99 → Free, 22.7 MB): Speed down the highway on your sport bike and split lanes to earn the highest possible score in this arcade game. You're able to control your bike by tilting your device. Weave in and out of traffic to score bonus points, and collect coins to unlock new riders and items. The game includes nine riders, environments that change everyday, and achievements and leaderboards via Game Center.

Monster Shooter: The Lost Levels ($2.99 → Free, 76.2 MB): Save a cute little kitten from evil alien forces in this dual-stick shooter. Fight your way through waves of enemies by blasting them with a variety of powerful and fully upgradable weapons. You can also level up your character and assign new perks to become a more efficient killing machine. The game includes four planets, 80 levels, 12 weapons, more than 100 missions, and achievements and leaderboards via Game Center.

Monster Shooter: The Lost Levels is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 9951 ratings. iPad:

Life Science Through Photography ($3.99 → Free, 28.4 MB): An education app that allows your child to learn elementary life science concepts through photography. The app includes 35 main photos, each with three numbered markers. Your child can tap on the markers to view the corresponding details with optional audio. Photos can be saved to your library, and you can view the location they were taken on a map. The app also includes a vocabulary list with additional photos and definitions.

Life Science Through Photography is available for free for a limited time. It has a 5-star rating with a total of 6 ratings.
