AppAdvice Goes Hands-On: Is The iPad mini Worth It?

The iPad mini has finally arrived. This new tablet takes the internal components of the iPad 2 and shrinks them down into a smaller form factor. At first glance, it's a beautiful device, but is it worth the money?
While the iPad mini doesn’t have a Retina display, I still think it looks pretty good. Many have criticized Apple for omitting a higher resolution display in the iPad mini, but don’t worry, they’re probably saving Retina for the second generation. If you're in need of a Retina tablet, the iPad mini isn't for you.
Overall, I have found the iPad mini to handle most tasks with ease. I haven't had a chance to push it to the max, but so far I've been satisfied with its performance. It’s not as powerful as the fourth generation iPad, but it didn’t feel sluggish.
Check out our hands-on video below. Take a look at the iPad mini and let us know if you think it's worth $329.
