Pixelmator And Tweetbot For Mac Receive Cool Updates In Mac App Store

November 8, 2012
We don’t often cover Mac news at AppAdvice unless it relates to iOS. However, two of our favorite applications, Pixelmator and Tweetbot for Mac have received new updates worth mentioning. Pixelmator 2.1.3 includes the following new features:
  • New color management: Soft Proofing, ColorSync, full sRGB support
  • Enhanced PSD file format support
  • Improved Automator actions
  • Italian and Spanish languages added
Meanwhile, Tweetbot for Mac has received its first significant update since going live last month. Version 1.0.1 includes the following:
  • Added support for Reading list as a Read Later service (10.8+ only)
  • Added jk navigation support in timeline
  • Added ability to disable Streaming in Preferences
Both Pixelmator ($29.99) and Tweetbot for Mac ($19.99) are available now in the Mac App Store. Naturally, these updates are free for current users.
