Relive Your Childhood Fantasy Once Again In My Little Hero Redux
November 2, 2012
Remember when you were a kid and you'd be frightened to look at your closet at night for fear of catching sight of the Boogeyman? Acne Play is giving you the opportunity to relive that very experience right on your iDevice.
Acne Play has just released My Little Hero, a game that lets you play as a pint-sized warrior who sets out to battle the Boogeyman.
But let me back up a bit … You may recall that we have already covered a game called My Little Hero several times here on AppAdvice.
That game, which was released last May by Acne Play's then game publisher NCsoft, and this newly released My Little Hero are in fact one and the same. So, allow me to revise my earlier statement …
Acne Play has just re-released My Little Hero, a game that lets you play as a pint-sized warrior who sets out to battle the Boogeyman.

You might be asking, "What's up with the re-release?" Allow Acne Play this time to shed light on the situation:
My Little Hero was indeed released in May, that time by NCsoft. But as they closed down their mobile division we got our game back, made an expansion and is now releasing it under our own account. It is all a bit messy as now those who bought it before will have to download it again if they want to get the updates. That is why we are offering it for free for a whole week. Also the save-files will be reset. It is a nasty situation that we can't do much to fix other then offer our apologies for the inconvenience. So, all's well that ends well. Now about that expansion AcnePlay mentions, it actually refers to a brand new adventure world in My Little Hero. Dubbed Candy Island, this new world features a lot of new stuff: new graphics, music, monsters, puzzles, objects, collectibles, and even a new boss fight. Of course, the four original worlds are kept intact in the re-released My Little Hero, as is the sense of wonder and adventure it can evoke in players. The re-released My Little Hero for iPhone and My Little Hero HD for iPad are available now in the App Store. For one week only, both can be downloaded for free. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
