SLightEnhancerSearch: Add Additional Search Options To Spotlight

November 13, 2012
A new jailbreak tweak called "SLightEnhancerSearch" can add additional search options, like the App Store, Amazon and Twitter, to the integrated Spotlight Search on a jailbroken iPhone handset. Simply install the jailbreak tweak (which is available for free in the Cydia Store, via the BigBoss repository), and a new pane will be added to the Settings app. Here, you can choose exactly what Spotlight will search. Options available to add include the App Store, Amazon, Facebook, Twitter, the iTunes Store, YouTube and more. A Cydia Store search option is also available, though we were unable to get this to work properly. After applying the above changes via a respring, Spotlight Search will include the new search options added in the Settings app. For more information on SLightEnhancerSearch, take a look at our walkthrough video below. As mentioned, the jailbreak tweak is available to download in the Cydia Store (via the BigBoss repository) for free. Enjoy! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cRLlu92Z_-M
