Updated: The App Store Is Up Again

For the second time in as many days, the App Store was down again today for new purchases.
As Brent Dirks reported yesterday:
Both the App Store and iTunes seem to be acting very strangely. We’re unable to pull up any apps or music to purchase on our iOS devices or via iTunes. In iTunes, we’re getting the pictured error message that I’ve definitely never seen before. On both my iPad and iPhone, I’m simply told that it can’t connect to the App Store. We can pull up movies and TV shows, oddly enough. We’re getting this error message:Things seem to be working fine now.
