Cryptogram Offers More Puzzles, Looks Especially Good On Retina Displays
December 20, 2012
One of our favorite word games for iOS has received a new update. Cryptogram 3.0 is now available in the App Store.
Called magical when it first launched in August 2011, the universal game for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad is all about figuring out an encrypted message in the least amount time. However, each time you get a letter wrong, more time is added to the clock. Along the way, the puzzles get more difficult and at times, longer.
The latest version of Cryptogram has been completely updated to include iPad Retina art. It also supports the iPhone 5’s 4-inch screen.
Designed as if you were using an old-style typewriter, Cryptogram now includes over 800 puzzles ranging from short to long. In addition, there are now six puzzle packs available for $0.99 each through in-app purchases.
These packs include: The Spirit of Asia, Simple Inspirations, Great Movie Lines, Wit, Wisdom & Humor, Potpourri, and a free gift pack.
Cryptogram is available in the App Store for $1.99.
