Moment.Me Gearing Up To Present A Worldwide New Year's Eve Celebration
December 28, 2012
We’ve already mentioned what other app developers have planned for New Year’s Eve. Moment.me is also joining in on the celebrations. The free Web and mobile app will be providing users with views from crowds around the world as we say hello to 2013.
Originally launched in August, Moment.me collects photos, videos, and tweets created at specific events and displays them in a panoramic, multi-point of view layout. The result is even more impressive given that each layout is presented in real time.
As the world says goodbye to 2012, Moment.me will provide views of celebrations through the eyes of local crowds on a live interactive map. This map, which is available here, will progress from East to West, starting at an event in New Zealand, and ending in Hawaii.
Here's a sample of what the individual moments will look like once this starts.
This sounds like an interesting initiative and definitely something worth checking out. To get ready, be sure to download the free Moment.me app and create a free account.
