Six Ways To Send The Perfect Last Minute E-Gift Card From Your Favorite Stores

December 24, 2012
On “Good Morning America,” it was reported that 10 percent of us wait until today, Christmas Eve, to begin or finish our holiday shopping. Instead of braving the last minute crowds, it might just be easier to purchase and send a holiday e-gift card from the comforts of home. Consider these six options:

Apple

We already told readers how to purchase iTunes Gift Cards via iOS devices. This can also be done via iTunes on a Mac or PC, and through Apple.com. Apple Store Gift Cards are also available and in digital format. Available in any amount from $25 to $2,000, these cards can be sent via email (and mail). Apple Store Gift Cards are redeemable at any of the company’s retail store locations and online.

Walmart

For folks looking to send iTunes Gift Cards and also want to save some money, be sure to checkout Walmart.com. Customers are now able to purchase digital $50 iTunes Gift Cards for $40. Although other denominations are also available, the $50 e-card is the only one with a discount attached to it.

Amazon

The largest online retailer on the planet offers gift cards as well. Available in denominations starting at $25, Amazon Gift Cards may be sent via email or printed out for a more personal delivery. You can also send Amazon Gift Cards with a video attached, which is a nice touch.

Best Buy

E-Gift Cards are also available from Best Buy in denominations between $5 and $500. Cards may be sent via email, Facebook, or printed out.

Target

Our favorite big box retailer is offering digital exclusive gift cards. Each may be sent via email or by text. Available in amounts between $5 and $200.

Starbucks

Available in multiple styles and denominations, Starbucks Card eGifts are perfect for anyone on your list that might need an extra kick this holiday season. We hope that this list finds you in good spirits. Happy holidays from all of us at AppAdvice!
