The Starbucks App Is Finally Optimized For The iPhone 5

Apparently full of holiday spirit, Starbucks has given iPhone 5 users an extra-special gift today.
With an update, the coffee giant’s popular app is now optimized for the larger, 4-inch screen of both the iPhone 5 and fifth-generation iPod touch.
The only other change in version 2.5.2 of the app is the addition of sound when stars drop in a cup. It is now an option that can be turned on or off. There are also the usual amount of bug fixes in the app.
Starbucks was a little quicker to jump on the Passbook train. Originally promised by the end of September, a Passbook-compatible app appeared in the first week in October.
Starbucks is designed for the iPhone/iPod touch. It can be downloaded in the App Store now. Now all I need is a Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf iOS app, and I should be set for my fair share of caffeine in 2013.
