Simply Sell Stuff Across Different Online Marketplaces With SellSimple
January 6, 2013
As an erstwhile online seller, I know how laborious creating listings across various e-commerce sites can get. But had SellSimple been released back when I was still selling stuff online, perhaps I wouldn't know that at all.
Recently released in the App Store, SellSimple is an app that promises to take the hassle out of selling across different sites.
Essentially, what it does is it lets you publish product listings on some of the most popular online marketplaces. These include eBay, Etsy, and Craigslist. In addition, it lets you sell stuff on Facebook and Twitter.
Just take a few photos of your product, enter the pertinent details, and choose where you want to sell. It's that simple.

SellSimple is geared toward online sellers, to be sure, but it's also of use to buyers.
Actually, items posted to other sites using SellSimple are also posted within the SellSimple marketplace. Buyers can then purchase from the SellSimple marketplace using a credit or debit card.
To ensure the security of buyers, payments on SellSimple are processed by a third party that is compliant with the policies of the Payment Card Industry Council.
Also, to prevent fraud, payments are held in escrow until the buyer approves the item he or she purchased.
Optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 5.0 or later, SellSimple is available now in the App Store for free.
