The app's streamlined interface makes it easy to keep up with your feed and interact with those you follow. Just tap on an update to reply, share, or favorite it. This fitness app uses your device's built-in GPS to record time, distance, speed, and elevation, and then places your position and route on a map. It automatically archives all of this data so you can view how you previously performed. The app also includes the ability to manually input information, the ability to compete against friends, and the ability to share your activities.

XnRetro ($0.99 → Free, 9.9 MB): Turn your photos into retro works of art with this effects app. You're able to import any photo from your library or snap a new one in-app. You're then able to choose from 19 retro effects and layer them with different light effects. You can also adjust the brightness, contrast, and saturation of your photo along with the opacity of each light effect to get different results. When you're finished, slap a frame over your final creation and share it via Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, or email.

XnRetro is available for free for a limited time. It has a 5-star rating with a total of 9 ratings.

Unknown Orbit ($0.99 → Free, 24.5 MB): Take control of a comet and utilize the planet's hills and valleys to reach deep space in this unique arcade game. You're able to tilt to control your comet's direction, and tap on the screen to make it plummet towards the surface. You want to release your finger on the upslope of the hills to blast into outer space and score the most points. If you mistime your landing, your multiplier will reset. The game includes three levels of difficulty, the ability to recharge your comet by collecting snow, and leaderboards via Game Center.

Backbreaker 2: Vengeance ($0.99 → Free, 35.6 MB): Fight your way to the end zone or take it to your opponent in this arcade football game. In Tackle Alley mode, you're tasked with trying to juke, spin, jump, and sprint your way to the end zone without getting tackled. In Vengeance mode, it's up to you to take down the ball carrier. The game includes the ability to customize your player and team, and achievements and leaderboards via Game Center.

Album Flow Pro ($2.99 → Free, 2.3 MB): Make your album art flow with this music player. You're able to browse through your music library by swiping across the album art. Just tap on an album to display its tracks and play music. You can also search for songs, share what you're listening to, display photos of the artists in the background, learn about your favorite artists, and choose from five patterns with five different colors.

3volution ($0.99 → Free, 51.5 MB): Fling little helpers through the primordial soup to achieve the highest possible score in this tricky arcade game. At the beginning of the game you're able to fling any one of the three helpers across the screen by tapping and dragging in the direction you want it to go. The goal is to fling one helper between the other two, which counts as a shot. Your next move must involve flinging one of the other two helpers since you can't use the same one consecutively. If you miss a shot, you lose a life. Lose all three and it's game over. Try to perform trick moves and gather power-ups to increase your score. The game includes a various forms of opposition, and achievements and leaderboards via Game Center.

3volution is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 8 ratings.

iPad:

Penultimate ($0.99 → Free, 41.7 MB): The ultimate handwriting app for iPad. It allows you to take notes or just sketch with the tip of your finger. You're able to draw on the screen with 10 different ink colors, customize the size of your pen, and undo any of your mistakes. You can choose from multiple paper styles, insert new pages, add images from your library, share your notebooks, and sync your notebooks with Evernote. The app also includes iTunes File Sharing and Dropbox support.

Penultimate is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4-star rating with a total of 11530 ratings.
