Win A Math Fleet Promo Code And Help Make Learning Fun
January 15, 2013
AppAdvice has once again teamed up with Banzai Labs in order to offer you a chance to win one of 20 promo codes for Math Fleet ($0.99) for iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch.
Doing homework is very rarely ever fun. Actually, the activity is typically considered intolerable. However, there are ways to make learning feel less like a chore. In the edutainment game, Math Fleet, math practice is blended into action-packed space-shooter fun.
As kids shoot away at enemy spaceships, asteroids, and so on using familiar dual-stick gameplay, a math equation will be displayed at the top of the screen with four possible answers appearing at the bottom-right.
Obviously, the point of solving the math problems needs to be a pivotal part of the game. Every correctly solved equation causes damage to the boss-like enemies that come along quite frequently throughout the level.
So, now we have an experience that kids yearn for, working to get a high score while blowing things up, and an activity that assists with education.
As for the overall features, the game includes 12 increasingly difficult math drills, more than 80 total levels, 12 portals, player ranking system with ship and fleet upgrades, local high scores, plus the ability to save profiles for each child.
