If you’re looking for some great jailbreak tweaks for your jailbroken iPad or iPad mini, we’ve put together a list of our top five favorites. All of these tweaks may not be free, but they’re definitely worth a look and will allow you to get the most out of your jailbroken device. Whether you’re new to jailbreaking, or a seasoned veteran, these tweaks are definitely some of the best ones for iPad in the Cydia store. If tablets are the wave of the future, then why not have the ability to use a mouse and keyboard on your iPad? BTC Mouse And Trackpad allows you to simultaneously connect a mouse (or trackpad) and keyboard to your jailbroken iPad. While connecting a keyboard is nothing new, being able to use a mouse can greatly improve your workflow. BTC Mouse And Trackpad is available for $4.99 in the BigBoss repository. Next on our list is Display Recorder. This is an app for jailbroken devices that will allow you to record your iOS device's screen. Display Recorder can record to H.264 or MJPG and has built-in export and upload options. In my opinion, Display Recorder works flawlessly and it's also a great way to make interactive tutorials or presentations. You can pick up Display Recorder in Cydia's BigBoss repository for only $4.99. Are you looking for a way to spice up your iPad's notification banners? If so, Emblem is definitely the way to go. This tweak will give your iPad notification banners that are very similar in style to OS X banners. Emblem is one of my favorite tweaks and has a beautiful design. Emblem is currently available for $1.99 in the BigBoss repository. Check out our video overview above for more information. Our fourth favorite tweak is FullForce. This will allow you to run iPhone apps full screen on the iPad and ditch the 2x button. In the video above, I used FullForce to launch the Angry Birds iPhone app and it worked perfectly. The best part is, FullForce is available for free in the BigBoss repository. The last tweak on our list is SwipeSelection. This tweak can really help improve your workflow when typing on the virtual keyboard. SwipeSelection was based on a concept from last year. This tweak allows you to swipe across the keyboard to move the cursor. SwipeSelection also allows you to quickly select text by swiping while holding the shift key. That may not sound like much, but it will definitely improve the way you type on an iPad. You can find SwipeSelection in the BigBoss repository for free. Go ahead and check out these great tweaks and be sure to let us know what you think in the comments. Also, be sure to take a look at our top five tweaks for iPhone and iPod touch.
