Apple's iOS Reigns Supreme In Enterprise Device Activations During Q4 2012

Good Technology has just released the results of its survey regarding smartphone and tablet activations among its enterprise customers in the fourth quarter of 2012.
As you can see in the graph above that summarizes the survey results, iOS reigned supreme as far as Good Technology's device activations during said quarter are concerned.
Among the 10 devices with the most number of activations, eight are powered by iOS, with the iPhone 5 leading the pack.
Good Technology, which specializes in mobilizing enterprises, notes:
This quarter’s report showed a clear preference for iOS devices, which accounted for 77 percent of all activations and captured eight of the top ten spots on the most popular device list this quarter. While Android activations dropped 6.3 percent as compared to Q4 2011, they still accounted for 22.7 percent of all activations for the quarter, which were primarily driven by Android tablets. Windows Phone devices came in a distant third for the quarter, capturing just 0.5 percent of overall activations.The company also points out that iOS activations had a year-over-year increase of 8.5 percent. Moreover, while the iPad dominated tablet activations, Android tablets are said to be gaining momentum as its share of activations increased considerably throughout last year.
