Mophie Launches New Generation Of Juice Pack Air Battery Case For iPhone 5

Mophie has just unveiled the latest generation of its popular Juice Pack Air battery case, which is designed specially for iPhone 5.
The new Mophie Juice Pack Air for iPhone 5 provides more juice, so to speak, than the previously announced Mophie Juice Pack Helium for iPhone 5. This is because the Juice Pack Air boasts a battery capacity of 1700 mAh, whereas the Juice Pack Helium has a capacity of 1500 mAh only.
As such, the Juice Pack Air is able to offer up to additional eight hours on LTE. In comparison, the Juice Pack Helium offers up to additional six hours only on LTE.

But while the Juice Pack Air is, by all accounts, thin, it's not as thin as the Juice Pack Helium. Nor is it as light.
The Juice Pack Air's dimensions and weight are, respectively, 2.60 in x 5.54 in x 0.63 in and 2.68 oz. The Juice Pack Helium's, on the other hand, are 2.49 in x 5.49 in x 0.59 in and 2.44 oz.
The new Mophie Juice Pack Air for iPhone 5 can now be purchased for $99.95 through Mophie's website. The black variant of the case ships in seven to 10 days, while its red and white variants begin shipping on March 22.
