Educational apps often have so many bells and whistles that it is hard to keep up with what your kids are doing. So it's always nice to see an app that does one thing really well like Let’s Visit.
Easily put, Let’s Visit allows both parents and children to travel to a certain place or time. With a very child-friendly design, kids should be able to navigate around the different worlds by themselves.
The animations are bright and pleasing, and the sound effects are loud and engaging.
Let’s Visit is a universal app for both the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad/iPad mini. It can be downloaded in the App Store now for free. The prehistory pack is free and comes with the app.
There are 11 other packs available to buy inside the app starting at $0.99 each. Multiple packs can also be purchased together for a discount.
I enjoyed getting to play around with the prehistory pack. While the app isn’t enormously educational, I can definitely see it being a hit with younger children. I’m sure my 2-year-old son will love to poke and prod the different dinosaurs to hear their sounds.
