Did you ever see a book review that's so terribly long that you didn't bother reading it at all? Did you ever read a book review that did nothing but spoil major plot points? Did you ever come across a book review that just seemed to go on and on and on?
If so, and you wish not to see such reviews anytime soon, then MiniViews may just be to your liking.
MiniViews promises to be a different sort of app for book reviews in that, as its name suggests, it's a place exclusively for mini reviews.
"In short," its App Store description says, "MiniViews is just like summarizing a book like you would for a friend."

Optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 5.0 or later, MiniViews is available now in the App Store for free. At the moment, given that it's a brand new app, there appears to be nothing much to see yet in MiniViews. But perhaps in the coming weeks, MiniViews will realize its potential to such a considerable extent that we can take a deeper look at it in a future edition of Shelf Control.
