Say Hello To The Newest Kickstarter Project: The Smarter Stand For iPhone

February 11, 2013
A new Kickstarter project has launched for iPhone. Dotan Saguy is currently seeking funding for the two-in-one Smarter Stand. As its name suggests, the Smarter Stand allows users to prop-up their iPhone/iPod touch to watch a video, read email, or do a video call. However, the device has a second purpose. It may also be used to keep EarPods or Earphones untangled. Take a look:

To help fund the Smarter Stand, Saguy has implemented five pledge levels. For as little as $9, Kickstarters will receive one white stand that matches the EarPods that come with the iPhone 5, or the earphones for the iPhone 4/4S. A pledge of $18 or more offers Kickstarters a Smarter Stand for iPhone, plus the previously released Smarter Stand for iPad. The Smarter Stand for iPhone works with or without a case, and is available for the iPhone 5, iPhone 4/4S, and fifth-generation iPod touch.

Saguy is seeking $15,000 to get the project started. Assuming that the project gets funded, the first stands should ship in May. The project runs through April 12. The Smarter Stand looks promising, and given that it serves two purposes, is unique too. If you think so too, become a Kickstarter for the project today.
