Collaborate And Create Multi-Angle Videos With Streamweaver 2.0

March 24, 2013
Now it's easier than ever to weave your streams, so to speak, thanks to the recently released Streamweaver 2.0. In case you're not familiar with Streamweaver, it's an app that lets you create multi-angle videos. It enables you and your friends to record videos at the same time from different angles, which are then combined into a single split-screen multi-angle video. These videos are available for viewing in the app itself or on the app's companion website. Streamweaver 2.0 introduces quite a few improvements, one of which is location-based recording. With this new feature, you just tap the record button in the app whenever you're in the same location as your friends to start recording together. The new version of the app also adds auto-sharing to YouTube and an asynchronous follow-based model that effectively replaces the app's friend-based model. Also included in Streamweaver 2.0 are the following new features:
  • Global feed for discovering new content
  • Interaction center to highlight social activity for each user within the app
  • Discover section with user and hashtag search
  • Bottom tab bar, replacing side navigation menu
  • Expanded user profiles, editable in the app or on the Web
Optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 6.0 or later, Streamweaver 2.0 is available now in the App Store for free. The release of Streamweaver 2.0 coincides with the launch of an improved Streamweaver experience on the Web, with support for discovering, viewing, and sharing content.
