Cydia Tweak: QuickPhoto Adds The Camera Roll To Your Keyboard

March 5, 2013
In my opinion, the process to send a photo within the Messages app is overcomplicated. You have to tap on the camera icon, press a button, select an album, choose a picture, and then send the message. Luckily, we can install Cydia tweaks to try and make iOS a little better. QuickPhoto is a new tweak that may make it easier to share photos in a wide variety of apps. Check out our video overview below: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qm0LphwMJvI

As shown in the video above, this tweak literally adds the Camera roll to your keyboard. Once you’ve installed QuickPhoto, launch open the Messages app and tap on the globe key. This will pull open QuickPhoto and allow you to instantly select and insert a photo with one tap. You can also tap and hold on a photo to see a bigger thumbnail before selecting it. This tweak is only compatible with iOS 6. QuickPhoto is compatible with the following apps: Currently, QuickPhoto is available in the BigBoss repository for $4.99. If I could change anything about this tweak, it would be the price. On the other hand, it does add a very convenient way to share photos within messages, tweets, and emails.
