Google has just unveiled a major update to its Google+ social networking app for iOS with a number of improvements and new features.
Version 4.3.0 of the app is easily highlighted by the addition of some photo enhancements taken from Snapseed. Along with some basic editing, like rotate and crop, iPhone users can also adjust saturation, contrast, brightness, and other parts of a photo with simple swipe motions. A single tap compares the edited photo with the original image. If you're needing more advanced photo features, the complete Snapseed iOS app can be downloaded for free in the App Store.
Other improvements in Google+ include a new profile design, notification tray, and set-up flow for users.
The update also includes the ability to adjust the volume of community posts in your home stream. Search results can also be filtered by best or most recent. Finally, users have the option to invite people or reshare items to a community.
Google+ is a universal app for both the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad/iPad mini. It can be downloaded now in the App Store for free.
