Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft Will Be Making Its Way To The iPad In 2013

Blizzard has just announced that the cross-platform title Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft will be making its way to the iPad along with the Mac and PC sometime later this year.
The free-to-play strategy card game will see users build card decks centered around one of the nine popular Warcraft character classes and battle competitors to win new cards.
Blizzard promises that Hearthstone will be easy to understand even for players unfamiliar with Warcraft or collectible card games. Along with being able to practice against a computer opponent, there will also be two competitive game modes.
Play mode has the usual head-to-head battles with players looking to increase their ranking and earn new card packs. For a different kind of experience, The Forge sees players begin each match by building a deck from a new sets of cards and then use that deck to duel other participants.
While the game will be free, there will be opportunities to buy new card decks via in-app purchases
