Today's Best Apps: Trauma, New Albums And Vizible
New Albums - Recent albums by your favorite artists by Michaël Villar (Free, 409.3 KB): This iTunes Store companion app makes it incredibly simple and quick to determine if your favorite musicians have released new albums. No more sifting through tons of titles that you may not care about or searching for each artist separately. Instead, just allow the app to scan your iPod library and provide a list of albums, including upcoming launches, from only the bands you listen to. Next, tap on an album, maybe do a few song previews, and buy.
Universal:Vizible - Nearby Twitter Photos by AJP Financial, Ltd. (Free, 3.3 MB): Here's a unique and nifty way of using Twitter to discover people, places, and activities around you. Rather than using hashtags to narrow things down, this app captures all of the nearby tweets that include photos and displays them in an easy to browse gallery. As should be expected, you can zoom images, retweet, respond, compose and post a new tweet, and view a user's profile. The app also supports multiple Twitter accounts, includes a safe search option, and allows adjusting the preferred search radius from one to 50 miles.
TRAUMA by Krystian Majewski ($2.99, 243.4 MB): In this elegantly designed hidden objects game, you'll piece together the details of a woman's observations and thoughts while she recovers from a traumatic accident. The experience takes place during a dream state with limited focus on certain areas through very realistic photographically depicted scenes. Control is done using single finger navigation of light that beautifully reveals interactive areas in a surreal kind of way.
