It has been revealed that the next game from the creators of popular app The Incident will be called Space Age.
The application, as its name suggests, situates players in outer space, and once more features gloriously retro 8-bit graphics. This time, however, instead of escaping from an undisclosed catastrophe, players of the game are invited to partake in what the app's developer calls "a mash up between a real-time strategy, an adventure game and a stealth action game."
He continues, in a post submitted to Touch Arcade's forum, to note that Space Age will be:
[a] sort of a love letter to the kind of games we enjoyed playing growing up. It's a lot bigger and more ambitious than The Incident and we really hope you're going to like it.Besides the above image, two further screenshots from Space Age have surfaced online, and we've embedded all three in a gallery below. In addition, the app's developer has created a Twitter account, @spaceageapp, where news concerning the forthcoming game will be posted. Finally, two sneak peek videos of Space Age are also available, and both are included at the foot of this article. Are you excited for the upcoming application? Let us know in the comments, and if you haven't yet taken The Incident for a spin, the universal app is currently available to download in the App Store for $2.99. [gallery]
