I’m a big fan of the Notes app. I use it on a daily basis to remind me of tasks, save important information, and quickly jot down ideas. While there’s not much to the app, it integrates with all of my iOS devices and my Macs to make sure I have every note everywhere.
NotesTweak is a new Cydia tweak that expands on Apple’s simple app and adds quite a few exciting and interesting features. This tweak allows you to add notes to the home screen like you can with Web pages in Safari. This provides quick access to a specific note without searching through the app by tapping on an icon.
If that’s not enough, NotesTweak also allows you to favorite individual notes and keep them at the top of the list. Also, if you don’t have a Mac, you may be happy to learn that NotesTweak adds DropBox integration to the Notes app. This allows you to save any note to your DropBox account to view and edit it on another computer or device. Within the Settings app, you’ll find options to change the sort order of the Notes app and select an upload format for DropBox.

Overall, I’m very impressed with the features that NotesTweak brings to iOS. In my opinion, anyone that uses the Notes app frequently will benefit from this tweak. NotesTweak requires iOS 6 or higher. Currently, NotesTweak is available in the BigBoss repository for $1.99. Check it out and let us know what you think in the comments.
