Delicious Library 3 For Mac To Launch Alongside Barcode Scanning iOS App

Delicious Monster, developer of Delicious Library 2 for Mac, has recently announced that a major update to its gadget cataloging application will be launching soon in the Mac App Store. Furthermore, the update is to be accompanied by the release of a brand new barcode scanning application for iOS, which will allow Delicious Library users to easily add items to their digital catalog.
Delicious Library allows users to build up a "home library" of books, movies, music, video games, gadgets, and even clothes, all of which can be stored within one single Mac application. In Delicious Library 2, users can scan the barcode of their personal items using a Mac's iSight camera, or have the option of cataloging information manually.
However, according to MacRumors, Delicious Monster's plans for Delicious Library 3 include a companion iOS app, which will allow users to scan barcodes and to catalog items using an iPhone or iPod touch.
Changes in Delicious Library 3 include recommendations based on users' cataloged items, a new 3-D interface, interactive charts and graphics, and much more.
No release date for Delicious Library 3 has yet been announced, though Delicious Monster notes that the software, plus its barcode scanning iOS app, will be launching "soon." We'll let you know once the new applications are available to download.
In the meantime, Delicious Library 2 is available in the Mac App Store for $34.99.
