Delicious Monster Launches Delicious Library 3 For Mac Plus Companion App For iOS

Just a few days ago, we told you about Delicious Library 3, a major update to the popular cataloging app for Mac from Delicious Monster. In its announcement, Delicious Monster said that the update would be launching "soon" along with a companion app for iOS. As it turns out, "soon" has already arrived.
Both Delicious Library 3 and its companion iOS app have been released in the Mac App Store and the iOS App Store, respectively.
Rather than being an update to Delicious Library 2, Delicious Library 3 actually comes as a new separate Mac app.
Of course, it carries the same core function of its predecessor, serving as a catalog for books, movies, music, video games, gadgets, and other items. But it does offers some new features, including a new 3-D interface, a holistic recommendation engine, and infographics generation.
Delicious Library 3 also allows users to catalog items by scanning item barcodes using the new Delicious Scanner app for iOS, in addition to scanning the same using a Mac's webcam.
Compatible with OS X 10.8.3 or later, Delicious Library 3 is available now in the Mac App Store as a brand new app priced at $24.99.
Delicious Scanner is also available now in the iOS App Store for free. It's compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 6.1 or later.
