FX Photo Studio Update Brings A Slate Of New Features And Improvements

One of my favorite photo editing apps for the iPhone, FX Photo Studio, has just been updated for the first time this year with a slate of new features and other improvements.
Version 5.1 of the app now supports the maximum resolution of the iPhone 5 and has improved Facebook integration and Instagram sharing. And as a nice touch, when you save a photo to the library, it will also be saved to your personal FX Photo Studio folder.
Along with new designs of text labels, the updated app has a reworked algorithm of placing layers and new artistic effects on an image.
With the usual amount of minor interface tweaks, the new version also fixes a bug that caused slower performance on some iPod touch models.
FX Photo Studio is designed for the iPhone/iPod touch. It can be downloaded now in the App Store for free. There are a number of effects packs that can be downloaded with an in-app purchase, including the new master’s filter collection.
A separate app for the iPad/iPad mini, FX Photo Studio HD, wasn’t updated today and can be downloaded for $1.99.
