Rovio Teases New Magical Update Coming Soon To Angry Birds Seasons
April 27, 2013
The carnival is coming to town! To Angry Birds Seasons town, that is.
Through a couple of tweets on its official Twitter account, Rovio teased the next update to the "seasonal" edition of its hugely popular physics-based puzzle game.
The first tweet carries the "first reveal of how the new Seasons update will look," and the second states that the update "will be all about magic."
Both tweets are accompanied by a colorful teaser photo. The photo, which you can see above, shows the game's infamous bad piggies donning magician and clown costumes.
As suggested by the image, the upcoming Angry Birds Seasons update is set to feature carnival-inspired levels, all presumably packed in a new episode. But like the folks at Pocket Gamer, we're uncertain as to what particular season that episode is going to celebrate.
No definite release date has been announced by Rovio for the update, although it's said to be "coming soon."
Of course, we'll be sure to let you know the moment the update goes live.
Compatible with iDevices running iOS 4.3 or later, Angry Birds Seasons for iPhone and Angry Birds Seasons HD for iPad are available in the App Store for $0.99 and $2.99, respectively.
The previous Angry Birds Seasons update introduced power-ups to the game and also added new levels to a couple of the game's existing episodes.
