Sweet! SugarSync 4.0 Introduces Redesigned Interface Plus New Features
April 15, 2013
SugarSync, the official iOS app of the popular file syncing service of the same name, has just been updated to version 4.0.
SugarSync 4.0 is a major update, not least because of the major interface redesign it brings to the app.
Featuring a more modern sidebar navigation menu, SugarSync's new interface gives you easy access to your all of your synced content.
And along with the new interface come several new useful features.
First, there's cloud search, which allows you to search for files across all of your computers right from your iDevice.
And then there's the ability to open — and therefore save — documents, photos, or videos from other apps in any folder of your choosing in SugarSync.
In addition, SugarSync 4.0 now also lets you filter your folders so that you can view all of the folders you have in SugarSync or only folders syncing to your current computer.
Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 5.0 or later, SugarSync 4.0 is available now in the App Store for free.
The app's next update is said to bring support for folder labels, enabling you to see the labels you apply in SugarSync for desktop or Web in SugarSync for iOS.
