Temple Run: Oz Welcomes You To Winkie Country In New App Update
April 18, 2013
Disney has released an exciting new chapter in Temple Run: Oz. The universal game now includes a new location, which comes with its share of interesting new obstacles.
With the new update, players now have the opportunity to travel through Winkie Country. This unique location is full of farmland, majestic canyons, and maze-like cornfields. Your task is to move through each obstacle while avoiding the Winkie guards.
The update also gives users a new “Head Start” feature, which allows for fast travel to any location for 7,500 coins. Additionally, Temple Run: Oz now has a leader board feature. Players can now connect with friends, see how far they have run, and dash right by their names displayed on the side of the road.
First launched to coincide with the motion picture release of “Oz The Great and Powerful,” the endless runner game spent nearly a month at the top of the iTunes charts. It currently ranks in the top five.
The universal Temple Run: Oz is available now for $0.99.
