Tim Cook Auctioning Off Coffee Meeting At Apple Headquarters

April 24, 2013
If you have some extra money lying around, I’ve got the perfect charity item for you to bid on. On the CharityBuzz site, Apple CEO Tim Cook is auctioning off an opportunity to have coffee with him at the company’s headquarters in Cupertino, Calif. The proceeds from the auction benefit the RFK Center for Justice and Human Rights. With an estimated value of $50,000, bidding is now up to $10,500. The auction ends on Tuesday, May 14. According to the fine print, the experience is valid for two people and will last anywhere from 30 minutes to one hour. It will be scheduled at a mutually agreed upon date. Travel to Apple's headquarters isn't included. While I doubt Cook will let you watch a movie on the iTV, try on an iWatch, or hold the iPhone 5S during the visit, it sounds like a fascinating opportunity. What would you want to ask the Apple CEO? Maybe a well-meaning reader can win the auction and take yours truly.
