Dive Into Atlantis: Pearls Of The Deep's New Episode And Colorblind Mode
May 6, 2013
If you'd rather match spherical masses than match mouthwatering confectioneries, check out Atlantis: Pearls of the Deep, which has just gotten a new update.
Atlantis: Pearls of the Deep challenges you to help a group of mermaids as they harness the energy of the titular underwater orbs in order to save the titular underwater city. To do so, you must be able to efficiently match pearls of the same color.
But you happen to be colorblind, you say? No problem, as Atlantis: Pearls of the Deep has just been updated with a new colorblind mode.
In colorblind mode, you can distinguish one pearl color from another by the difference in the density of air pockets within the pearls.
Supermagical, another iOS match-three game, gained a colorblind mode three months ago. And it's nice to see that Atlantis: Pearls of the Deep now has its own version of this assistive mode, which can be enabled in the options menu.

Apart from the new colorblind mode, the new Atlantis: Pearls of the Deep update adds a new episode containing 15 new levels. It also lowers the prices of episodes and power-ups and adds more ways to earn free star coins.
Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad, Atlantis: Pearls of the Deep is available in the App Store for free.
The new version of Atlantis: Pearls of the Deep also introduces a new icon, which replaces the old one's pearl in a shell with a mermaid holding a pearl.
