Divoom’s New Onbeat-200 Is Yet Another Inexpensive Bluetooth Speaker Option

May 7, 2013
As Bluetooth speakers continue to flood the market, even cost-conscious buyers have interesting options to choose from. And Divoom has added another solid choice to the mix with the introduction of its Onbeat-200 wireless speaker. Measuring it at 3 inches long, the speaker is designed for portability while not sacrificing on audio quality. With precision-tuned 50mm drivers and a passive bass radiator, Divoom says the Onbeat-200 can produce clear and crisp audio at any volume. The rechargeable battery can also provide up to eight hours of audio on a single charge. And with a 5v cell, it can easily produce 8W of sound from a small package. As a nice bonus, the Onbeat-200 also comes equipped with a built-in microphone to allow for handsfree calls or easy video chats. With the Bluetooth connection, users can answer phone calls and end a conversation with just a button push. An auxiliary input also allows users to plug in other audio devices that don’t feature Bluetooth technology. Available in four colors – black, red, blue, and sliver – the Onbeat-200 retails for $79.90 and can be ordered directly through Divoom’s site.
