Make A Movie With Toy Story: Story Theater To Win A Disney Vacation Package
May 27, 2013
A month ago, Disney released Toy Story: Story Theater, an app that lets kids make animated movies starring Woody, Buzz, Jessie, and the rest of the "Toy Story" gang. Now, Disney is inviting kids to enter the first ever Disney Story Theater Film Festival.
The festival offers Toy Story: Story Theater kiddie filmmakers the chance to win a vacation package to this year's D23 Expo at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California. The Disney fan expo is set to be held from August 9 to August 11.
Kids may submit their movies during the contest period, which runs from today through June 23. A panel of judges will narrow down the submissions to a hundred, which will then be made available for public viewing and voting from June 25 to July 7. The grand prize winner will finally be announced on July 15.

Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 5.1 or later, Toy Story: Story Theater is available in the App Store for $2.99.
As shown in the contest's promotional video above, Toy Story: Story Theater allows kids to easily choose characters, settings, props, and actions and then record their voice to bring their cinematic masterpiece to life.
