No Reservations Are Required As Popular Mailbox App Launches On iPad
May 23, 2013
The folks at Orchestra have released a huge Mailbox app update. Version 1.3 brings the popular utility to the iPad for the first time.
According to a posting on the Mailbox blog:
You asked, we listened. Mailbox is now available for iPad, so you can swipe your way to inbox zero on all your iOS devices. The app's move to the iPad doesn't bring with it any new bells or whistles. On the flip side, Mailbox 1.3 includes all of the features that made it a popular choice with iPhone users. These include its signature swiping system that allows users to place email into different buckets according to importance and time sensitivity. When it was first released earlier this year, the app was noted for its unique reservation system that limited the number of people who could use it. Thankfully, those reservations are no longer necessary. It should be noted that Mailbox remains for Gmail users only, though support for other email services are expected to be added soon. Orchestra is also working on Mailbox versions for Mac and Android. For more information on Mailbox, see our original review here. The free iOS app is available now in the App Store. [gallery]
